Originally established in Sussex, the Birmingham school was opened in May 2013.

The school has raised the bar in the Midlands with a reputation for excellence and innovation in performing arts training. The school is open to all young people aged 6 to 18 years.

A professional team of teachers, all established performers themselves – run weekly workshops in all aspects of theatre, TV and film, singing and dance. Our unique classes prepare students for regular professional and amateur performances, exams, festivals and auditions.

If you have a burning desire to perform, want to find some confidence and meet new friends, while being trained by the most inspiring teachers out there – The Theatre Workshop is for you!

Students in the Birmingham schools have already made great progress in securing professional work within the industry due to our links with a leading children’s agency. These include Kinder Egg advert, Startrite shoes advert, Fiddler on the roof UK Tour, Annie get your gun UK Tour, Various CBBC Programmes.

Due to popular demand and the continuing success of our Birmingham students a second school has been opened in the afternoon.

I just wanted to let you know, and thank you at the same time for getting Nicole where she is today. She took part yesterday in the Hastings Festival Pop Songs Class and out of 37 entries she won 1st place. She played the piano and sang. I wish she could do more with you as The Theatre Workshop has just made her better and more confident

Hannah has been attending Theatre Workshop now for over 2 years and it has been amazing to see her gain in confidence to the point she is able to perform on stage to audiences seeming totally unfazed by it all and having no nerves whatsoever. She has learnt so much and loves being part of the company. She loves to tell us all the things she does during her lessons and is always full of excitement when we pick her up. I hope she continues to grow as a performer to lead on to many more exciting opportunities.
