Tia-lana Chinapyel In National Theatre Role!

9-year-old Eastbourne student Tia-Lana Chinapyel has secured a fantastic acting role at London’s prestigious National Theatre! She will play Noori in ‘Behind the Beautiful Forevers’, a new play by David Hare based on the award-winning book by Katherine Boo in which she documents the lives of residents in Annawadi over a three year period.

It’s not the first time that Tia-Lana has been in the spotlight. She has been a student at The Theatre Workshop Stage School in Eastbourne for the past three years which has led to a number of star turns, including John Bishop’s ‘Only Joking’, The Honourable Woman, adverts for Nutella and NSPCC advert, as well as performances in UK tours of operas Nabucco, Aidi and Carmen.

‘Behind the Beautiful Forevers’ runs at The National’s Olivier Theatre from 10th November 2014- 13th April 2015.
